Margaret Somers (Nan) Beese, age 90, of McDonough, GA, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 18, 2013. Margaret was born on March 28, 1922. She was proud of the success enjoyed by her 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren in their professional and athletic endeavors. She also actively supported the Gladiator Special Needs Football Program. In addition she took great joy in her active support and participation in the Forest Park Recreation Center Children's Program and was a proud member of the Forest Park Senior Center and Red Hat Program. Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, William (Bill) Beese. Survivors include daughters; Mary Ann Connelly and husband Joseph, Patricia Orlonski and husband Richard, and sons; William Beese and wife Linda, Robert Beese and wife Nancy. A funeral service will be held at Salem Baptist Church, 1724 N. Hwy 155, McDonough, GA, on Friday February 22, 2013 at 11AM. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at the Funeral Home.
