Mrs. Marie Dixon Adams, age 82, of Stockbridge, passed away, September 29, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney J. Adams. She is survived by her children, Rogina (Joe) Apodaca of FL, Cathy Jean (Wesley) Session of FL, Beth (David) McMichen of Meansville, Kathi (Pat) Cogan of Stockbridge, Nancy (Scott) Goffart of Shaprsburg; brother, Billy (Mary Claire) Dixon of Locust Grove; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, October 3, 2013 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City, GA. Flowers accepted or make contributions in her name to a charity of your choice.
