Mr. Mario Santamaria, age 86, of Rex, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents; Frank and Beatrice Santamaria, his son; Mark Santamaria, and his sisters; Lucy Santamaria, Isabella Barbera, and Fanny Costa. He is survived by his wife; Janice Santamaria, his children; Donna (Jeff) Polhemus, Diana (John) Curra, and Frank (Stacy) Santamaria, his sister; Theresa Delia, his grandchildren; Jazmin Curra, Jennifer Curra, Mark Polhemus, Samantha Curra, Nicole Polhemus, Gianna Curra, Madilyn Santamaria, Lillian Santamaria, and Caroline Santamaria, his great grandchild; Marcus De'Jesus. A Funeral Mass officiated by Fr. Michael Martin OFM Conv. will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 18, 2024, at St. Philip Benizi, 591 Flint River Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30238. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 17 from 2 to 5 PM at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, 2047 Hwy 138 SE, Jonesboro, GA 30237.
