Mr. Marion "Sandy" Sanders, age 90 of McDonough passed away October 31, 2020. Mr. Sanders was retired from the US Air Force and from Roadway Express. He was preceded in death by his wife: Chrystine Kemp Sanders; son: Chuck Sanders; grandchildren: Nicholas Yancey and Donald Sanders. He is survived by his children: Kay Yancey (Jeff) of McDonough, Lucy Roper (Harold) of Covington, Marvin Sanders (Tammy) of McDonough, and Cindy Hunsinger (Jim) of Heflin, AL; grandchildren: Benjamin Sanders, Joshua Yancey (Kristi), Megan Yancey, Sean Yancey, Michael Roper, Matthew Roper (Samantha), Dakota Sanders, Alex Black (Chris Lopez), Nick Black, Ember Phillips, Will Sanders, Sharlene Hunsinger; 3 great grandchildren: Connor, Mila, and Madison. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM, Friday, November 6th, 2020 at Kelley Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Millicent Thomson officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Kelley Presbyterian Church, 3637 Airline Road, McDonough, GA 30252 in memory of Mr. Marion "Sandy" Sanders.
