Mrs. Martha Oakes Daniel, age 90 of Jonesboro passed away April 5, 2021. Mrs. Daniel was the last of nine children born to John F. and Vernie Oakes, a longtime member of First Baptist Church Jonesboro and she was preceded in death by her husband: James Daniel, Jr. Mrs. Daniel is survived by her children: Sherry (Larry) Williams of Jonesboro, Randy (Pat) Daniel of Jonesboro, Karla Marie Hinton of Stockbridge and Karen (Timothy) Dahlen of Jonesboro, grandchildren: Cass Williams, Lauren (Lee) Roberts, Alexis Hinton, Alden Effferson and Alexander Dahlen, great-grandchildren: Madelynn Oberst and Morgan Williams, great-great grandchild: Harper Kay and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the Chapel of First Baptist Church Jonesboro with Rev. Allen Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
