Mrs. Martha Lois Land Moore age 86 of Jonesboro passed away February 12, 2023.  Mrs. Moore was a graduate of O'Keefe High School and a member of O'Keefe Alumni association, and a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband: John Albert Moore, Jr., parents: Robert Lee Land and Iceola "Ola" Strawn Land, brothers: Thomas Cecil Land and Albert Lee Land. She is survived by her nephews: Barry (Jeannette) Gerald of McDonough, Russell Selph of Cherokee, NC, Dewey Curtis Selph of Morrow; nieces: Deborah Smith of Jonesboro, Brenda Weeks of Alabama, Janice Gibbs, and Cecila Burke; great nieces: Stacey Herrin (Earl) King, Amy Herrin, Jennifer Herrin, Tiffany Herrin all of Jonesboro; cousins: Tammy  and Wanda Cochran; caregiver and best friend: Margaret Yvonne McMillan of Stockbridge.  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Mr. Lanson Newsome and Rev. Allen Davis officiating.  Burial will follow at 2 PM at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM before the service at the funeral home.
