Mr. Marty Yater, age 58, of Stockbridge, passed away, May 4, 2014.  He is survived by his wife, Julie; children, Jessica Emory and her fiancé Joey Turner of Stockbridge, Mickey (Stacy) Yater of Jenkinsburg, Jacob (Tiffany) Yater of Villa Rica; father-in-law, Butler J. Smith of Stockbridge; siblings, Alice Chewning of FL, Marthanna Yater of NC; grandchildren, Bailey Yater, Christian Emory, Destin Emory, Abbey Emory, Samantha Yater, Sophia Yater, Isabelle Yater, Andrew Walter Yater; and a great  grandchild, Brayden Kelly.  Memorial services will he held at 7 PM on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday evening.
