Mr. Marvin H. Leverett, age 83, formerly of Jonesboro passed away October 16, 2023. Mr. Leverett was preceded in death by his parents: Cecil M. and Dora E. Leverett and his first wife: Betty June Leverett. He is survived by his wife: Pat Leverett, children: Michael H. (Merium) Leverett of McDonough, Martin H. (Peggy) Leverett of Forsyth, Twila (Ray) Tatro of MI. and Marvin L (Becky) Leverett of MO., grandchildren: Benjamin Leverett, Michelle (Phillip) Wynn, Brittany (Tim) Petersen, Joanie (David) Zoecker, Jasmine Tatro, Mechelle ( Jeremy) Champion, Jessica Leverett, James (Krysta) Leverett, David (Colleen) Leverett, Philip Leverett, Bethany (Nathan) Peterson, Amanda Leverett, Stephen Leverett and Timothy Leverett., 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the funeral home.
