Mary Elaine Cannon, age 65, of Jonesboro, passed away, August 17, 2014. She is survived by her children, Carey Brant (Theresa) Shelnutt of Hogansville, William "Bill" Ralph (Dawn) Shelnutt of LaGrange; twin sister, Sarah Eileen Marks of Jonesboro; brothers, Raymond Henry (Valerie) Cannon of Newnan, Ronald Woodrow (Shirley) Cannon of Hogansville, Raiford Lee (Janet) Cannon of Griffin; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Bro. Ronald Woodrow Cannon will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
