Mrs. Mary Ann Connelly age 73 of McDonough passed away December 8, 2016. Mrs. Connelly was the Director of Forest Park Senior Center, a board member of the Senior Olympics. She also coached and led Youth Sports and Programming and volunteered with The Gladiators Football Program. She is survived by husband: Joseph Connelly; son: Jay & Lynne Connelly of McDonough; brothers and sisters: Billy & Linda Beese of Bricktown, NJ, Patricia & Richard Orlowski of Bayonne, NJ, and Robert & Nancy Beese of Clarksville, TN; 2 grandchildren: Justin Connelly and Nathan Connelly of McDonough, GA. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Don McKay officiating. Burial will follow at 2 PM, at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM, Monday, December 12, 2016 at Ford Stewart Funeral Home.
