Mr. Melvin Leopole Green, age 64 of Jonesboro passed away August 3, 2023. Mr. Green was a retired SSG from the U.S. Army and worked for UPS for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his son: Cameron Alexander Green. Mr. Green is survived by his wife: Brenda Green, mother: Cynthia Sterling of New York, brother: Owen Davis of New York, sister: Norma Harrell of Albany, GA, many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 12:00 p.m. – 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023, prior to the service.
