Mr. Michael Allen Hardy, age 60 of Stockbridge passed away January 7, 2019. Mr. Hardy retired from the Henry County Police Department on May 2, 2014 with 20 years of service. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his father: Hugh A. Hardy. He is survived by his wife: Jill Hardy, children: Brandon Michael Hardy of Stockbridge, and Kristen Melton and husband Nathan of Canton, mother: Peggy Ann Hardy of McDonough, and grandchildren: Ayden Brandon Hardy and Grace Lynn Hardy. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at  Salem Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Statham officiating.
