Mr. Michael "David" Laney age 53 of Locust Grove passed away September 29, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father: Thomas G. Laney, Nanny: Estelle Gee and grandmother: Mary Lee Laney. He is survived by his wife: Angie Laney, Sons: Justin Tyler (Bree) Laney of Douglasville, Dalton Hunter Laney and Drake Kameron Laney both of Locust Grove, mother: Mary Liz (Homer) Laney of Jonesboro, sister: Anita (Ricky) Wynn of Locust Grove, grandchildren: Raven Laney and Jade Laney, many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the funeral home.
