Mr. Michael Mondy, age 70, of Riverdale, passed away on July 1, 2024. Michael dedicated his career to Owens Illinois as a machine operator and proudly served in the Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his wife, Luwana Rose Mondy, and his parents, Wilson and Laura Mondy. He is survived by his children: Jennifer (Andrew Groover) Smith, Michael "Gene" Mondy II, and Phillip Jason Mondy; his grandchildren: Seph (Rue) Madden, Andrew (Jacie Sheridan) Malson, Katie Smith, and Brayden Smith; his siblings: Steve (Adrian) Mondy, John Mondy, and Pam (Ed) Paulson, and Dennis "Tiny" Albitus; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A graveside service officiated by Pastor Mike Mewborn will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Camp Memorial Park, 1255 Hwy 54 W, Fayetteville, GA 30214. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in his honor to the Amaranth Diabetes Research Foundation at donors.diabetes.org/page/Amaranth.
