Mr. Mickey Evans, age 65, of Fayetteville, passed away on November 7, 2021.  Mickey was a member of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle in Jonesboro, GA.  and retired from General Motors.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James Oliver Evans and Bessie Ruth Evans and his siblings, Leo Evans, Audrey Evans, Peggy Sweeney, George Eugene Evans, J.H. Kyle Evans and Charles Evans.  He is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Jennifer (Jim) Veitch of Newnan, Amanda (Adam) Humphries of Lula, April (Jacob) Carter of Moreland; bonus children, Mandy (Danny) Fesperman of Homer, Beth (Michael) Lott of Griffin; siblings, Benny (Rita) Evans  Geneva (Bob) Claiborne of TN, Joyce (Donald) Jones of TN, Lucy (Robert) Smallwood of  GA, Lou Ann (Charles) Jones of  TN, Texie (Bob) Winkle of TN, Sherry (Allan) Cannon of GA, Carolyn (Larry) Wilson of TN; sister-n-law, Marie Evans of TN; 21 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family.  A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Harvest Tabernacle in Jonesboro.  Dr. Joe Arthur, Pastor Jim Veitch and Pastor Adam Humphries will officiate.  Interment will be at Holly Hill Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
