Mrs. Millie Elizabeth Godfrey, age 86, of Jonesboro, passed away on July 31, 2019. She retired from National Biscuit Company. Mrs. Godfrey was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Ray Godfrey and son, Rocky Godfrey. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Barnes of Stockbridge; brother, Cecil (Janet) Cameron of McDonough; sisters, Jo Darby of Conyers, Evelyn Bagley of Atlanta; grandchildren, Chris (Erica) Barnes of McDonough, Michelle Barnes Jonesboro; great grandchildren, Madelyn, Cohen and Caleb. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 3, 2019 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at 3:30 PM at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery in McCaysville, GA on Saturday, August 3, 2019.
