Mittie Louise Swafford, age 99, of Conyers passed away on January 8, 2026. She was born on March 21, 1926 to the late Willam Arthur and Clodie Wood. She was also preceded in death by her husband; Alex James Swafford, Jr. She is survived by her children; Judy (Phil) Williams of Conyers, Robert D. (Valerie) Swafford, grandchildren; Susan (Bill) Bailey, Angelyn (Jim) Wilson, Dr. David (Susan) Swafford, Julie Lee (Robert), Laura Swafford; 15 grandchildren and extended family. A Graveside Service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
