Mrs. Monica Jo Mathews age 68 of Stockbridge passed away July 15, 2018. Mrs. Mathews was a member of First Baptist Church Stockbridge. She is survived by her husband: Donnie Mathews; children: Shelley Gawel (Luke) of Forest Park, Jeff Beaver (Amy) of Fayetteville, AK, Michael Beaver of Valdosta; step-children: Shelly Mathews-Lanham (Dayna) of Jackson and Keri Gable (Michael) Hampton; grandchildren: Emily B., Kourtney, Brittany, Erica, Emily G., Julia, William and Melody; great grandchild: Mason. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, July 19, 2018 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Murell officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM before the service at the funeral home.
