Mrs. Nancy Carol McVey, age 67 of Covington passed away January 8, 2024. She was a member of Guiding Light Baptist Church, where she served as the church pianist. She was also a Hairdresser for many years. She is preceded in death by her father; William Wayne Daniel. She is survived by her husband; Bernard R. McVey, children; Justin (Ashley) McVey of Covington, Courtney (Mark) Karpinsky of Dewey Rose, Ga, mother; Essie Daniel, sister; Janet Daniel of Rome, Ga, grandchildren; Reece McCart, Levi Karpinsky, Tyler R. McVey, Rayleigh G. McVey, several nieces, nephews and extended family members. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday January 13, 2024 at 3 PM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Lowery officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 to 3 PM prior to the service. Interment will take place Monday January 15, 2024 at 11 AM at Hemptown Baptist Church Cemetery in Morganton, Ga.
