Mrs. Nancy Jo Meares, age 59 of Jonesboro passed away April 22, 2026.

Mrs. Meares was preceded in death by her son: Corey Kyle Meares and her parents: Charles L. Williams and Lora Elizabeth (Allen) Williams.

She is survived by her husband: Joe Meares, Jr., son: Joey (Dallas) Meares, III of Macon, brother: Ronald (Sharon) Williams of Senoia, sister: Janice (Tony) McKinney of McDonough, grandchildren: Kamryn Meares, Addison Meares and Max Meares, nieces: Courtney (Jose) Bucio and Ansley Williams, Nephew: Logan Williams and great-nephew: Zane Bucio.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Roye officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 11 A.M. – 1 P.M., prior to the service.
