Mrs. Nancy L. Rice age 82 of Jonesboro passed away April 4, 2023.  Mrs. Rice was preceded in death by her husband: Jack Richard Rice, and her longtime companion: Gene Cunningham. She is survived by her children: Shannon L. Rice of Jonesboro, Richard (Barbara) Rice of Hampton, and Mitchell (Suzanne) Rice of Locust Grove; brother: Larry LeQuire of TN; three grandchildren: Suzanne Rice and husband, Chase Greenstein, Jaclyn Rice and Jordan Rice.  She loved volunteering, painting, reading and most of all, her three lovely granddaughters.  She also loved her mountaintop in Tennessee.  A graveside service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, April 8th, 2023 at Lower Chilhowee Baptist Church Cemetery in Tallassee, TN. Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, Inc., Jonesboro/Stockbridge 770-210-2700.
