Mrs. Nell Watson Hughes, age 86, of Jonesboro, GA, passed away on October 12, 2018. She is retired from Clayton County Board of Education. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Jasper Hughes, Jr. She is survived by her children, Al Hughes of Jonesboro, GA, Steve (Kathy) Hughes of Fayetteville, GA, and David (Amanda) Hughes of Locust Grove, GA; brother, John D. Watson of Heflin,AL; grandchildren, Meagan (Adam) DiGiovanni, Allison (Zack) Beecher, Kristen (Sean) Grishem, Molly (Justin) Pharr, Callie (Tate) Howell, Nick Hughes and Natalie Hughes; great grandchildren, Josh DiGiovanni, Mia DiGiovanni, Brayden Pharr and Boone Pharr. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, October 15, 2018 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12Noon till 2 PM the day of the service at the funeral home. Rev. Martin Jones will officiate. Interment will be at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville, GA.
