Mrs. Nellie Grace Chapman age 97 of Hampton, passed away August 7, 2017. Mrs. Chapman was the oldest member of Bible Baptist Church. She had a servants heart and was loved by all of her grandchildren, she was a faithful wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband: Woodrow W. Chapman and her son: Ricky Chapman. She is survived by her children: Bobby Chapman (Joy) of Dillard, GA, Sandra Stokes of Hampton and Cheryl Stephens of Riverdale; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Loren Regier officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM before the service at the funeral home.
