Mrs. Nellie Jo Maddox, age 81 of Jonesboro passed away February 19, 2021. Mrs. Maddox was a member of Jonesboro First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther William Maddox, Sr. She is survived by her children: Bill (Kelley) Maddox of Fayetteville and Dawn (David) Chandler of Roanoke, AL; grandchildren: Anthony (Keyanna) Rice, Jonathan (Abby) Chandler, Leigh Ann Dickens, Gwendolyn Maddox, Trevor Chandler, Luke Maddox, and Meghan Chandler; great grandchildren: Anthony Rice, Jr. , and Christian Rice; niece: Loretta Sarcy. Funeral services will he held at 2 PM, Monday, February 22, 2021 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12- 2 PM before the service at the funeral home.
