Mrs. Nellie "Sue" Torbett, age 86 of Riverdale passed away August 13, 2022. Mrs. Torbett was preceded in death by her son: Barry M. Torbett, parents: Monroe and Annie E. Sandlin and her brothers: Donald Sandlin and James Sandlin. She is survived by her husband: Eslie M. Torbett, sons: Jeff (Shirley) Torbett of Fayetteville and Fred (Terri) Torbett of Griffin, sisters: Dorothy "Dot" (Donald Ray) Wright and Francis (Eddie Frank) Nichols all of AL., 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. prior to the service. A Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Sherwood Memorial Park.
