Mr. Olin T. Lathem, age 84 of Newnan passed away January 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Ann Lathem, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. Surviving are his son: Kevin Lathem of San Diego, CA., sister: Wilma Burruss and husband Robert of Canton, GA., and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017, 11 a.m. in the Chapel of First Baptist Church Jonesboro with Dr. Charles Q. Cater and Rev. Irvin Pearre officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 28, 2017, 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. at the church.
