Mrs. Oneita Gordon Carr, age 81 of Hampton passed away October 23, 2020. Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Carr; parents: Murray & Lizzie Gordon; her brothers: Joseph Gordon, Hayward Gordon, Sam Henry Gordon, Murray Wayne "Tince" Gordon and Benjamin Gordon; sisters: Valda Miller, Lucille Stewart, and Elie Margaret Gordon. She was survived by her daughters: Mary Alice (Gary) Duncan of Hampton and Linda Carol Carr of Greenville, GA; sister: Nadine (Ross) Shoemaker; grandchildren: Chad (Danielle) Duncan, Casey (David) Crumbley, and Samantha Duncan; great grandchildren: Mary Olivia Anne Duncan and Eleanor Oneida Duncan. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, October 28, 2020 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM before the service at the funeral home. Flowers accepted or memorials can be made to American Cancer society, www.cancer.org .
