Pastor Victor R. Whited, age 86 of Hampton, passed away on January 28, 2019. He was born on January 12, 1933 in Flemington, Missouri. He graduated from Johnson Bible College where he met Peggy, his wife of 65 years. He has been a Pastor for 60 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, R.L. and June Whited; sister, Barbara and grandson, Joshua. He is survived by his wife, Peggy; children, Stephen Rex (Jo) Whited of Clarksville, GA, Victoria Jo Lake of Hampton, Sarah Vinita (Robert) Lowery of Oxford, AL; siblings, Jerry Tip (Helen) Whited of OK, Peggy Kay (Tim) Carter of MO; grandchildren, Jacob Lowery, Victor Palmer Lake, Sam Whited and Walker Lewis Whited. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Berea Christian Church in Hampton. Dr. Dennis Fulton and Pastor Jerry Sweitzer will officiate. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Berea Cemetery in Hampton.
