Patsy Hulsey Fier, age 84, a long-time resident of Morrow, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on July 23, 2021.She was born in Cumming, Georgia to the late Ben and Eva Ray Hulsey.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Hulsey and Sam Hulsey. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James M. Fier, Jr., daughters Allison (Frank) Ferguson of McDonough and Vicki Uebele of Locust Grove; grandchildren Eron Uebele, Jordan Uebele, Heather (Garret) Mariast, Cathy (Andrew) Baxter, Lee (Amanda) Lewis, and Ashton Lewis; great grandchildren Leighton and Wyatt Lewis.  She is also survived by two nieces and a nephew, as well as many dear friends. Patsy was a long-time member of Ash Street Baptist Church in Forest Park and most recently a member of Jonesboro First Baptist Church.  She was a 1956 graduate of Bass High School in Atlanta, and was a secretary for Alcoa Aluminum, Ash Street Baptist Church, and A&B Sheet Metal.  She was an active member of the Southwood Garden Club for many years, a member of the Gideons Auxiliary International and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, sewing, Braves baseball, music, Hallmark movies, reading and word puzzles. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home With Rev. Allen Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
