Paula Arlene Shanahan, age 75, of Rex, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025.
Born on March 18, 1949, in Sioux City, Iowa, Paula was the daughter of the late Colista Kleeman and Robert Nichols. She was a graduate of Bishop Heelan High School in Sioux City.
Paula shared 57 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Robert Shanahan. Together they built a loving family, and she is survived by her children, Kelly, John, and Jamie Shanahan; her sister, Terri Hoelker; her grandchildren, Sam and Josh Newmark and Avery Kincaid; and her great-grandchild, River.
Honoring Paula's wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Sherwood Memorial Park, 6841 Tara Blvd., Jonesboro, Georgia, on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:30 a.m.
