Mrs. Pauline M. Stover, age 92, of Jonesboro, passed away on August 28, 2015. She worked in Oak Ridge, TN when they were making the atomic bomb. She was one of three living meter readers that worked on the project. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Fred Stover; children, Johnny Stover, Debbie Stover Wallis and a grandchild, Kristen T. Pressley. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Frenda and Richard Turner of Jonesboro; daughter-in-law, Barbara Stover of Mableton; son-in-law, Bill Wallis of Jonesboro; sister, Ruby Fequa of Rome; grandchildren, LeAnn T. Casey, Cheryl Newton, John Stover, Brandy Jensen, Matt Stover; 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 PM on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Sherwood Memorial Park, Jonesboro, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 2-3 PM.
