Mrs. Phyllis M. Cagle age 78 of Stockbridge passed away February 11, 2018. Mrs. Cagle was a long time member of Jonesboro First Baptist Church where a big part of her life was devoted to being a member in the choir where she was able to sing many solos throughout the years. She was preceded in death by her brother: Greg Gaugler. She is survived by her husband: Don Cagle: children: Scot & Debbie Cagle of Fayetteville and Rex & Teresa Cagle of Stockbridge; brother: Rev. Vince Gaugler (Brenda) of Jacksonville, FL; sister in law: Diana Gaugler of Conyers and Dannie Jo Davis of Okeechobee, FL; grandchildren: Jessie Finn, Cameron Cagle, Carson Cagle, Spencer Cagle, Natalie Cagle and Luke Cagle; several nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, February 15th, 2018 in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro with Dr. Charles Q. Carter, Dr. Mel Blackaby, Rev. Irvin Pearre and Rev. Vince Gaugler. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM, Wednesday, February 14th, 2018 at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
