Ralph Porter Mr. Ralph J. Porter (age 71) passed away January 05, 2012 in Riverdale, Georgia after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Diane, his daughters Diana Hillock (John), Tambra Hobson and son Ralph John Porter, Jr. He is also survived by the lights of his life, John Winston Hillock III and Elizabeth Hillock of Marietta, Ga. He grew up in Cochranton, Pa. The son of Margaret and Emerson Porter. Ralph retired from Bell South in 1992 and started his own communications consulting business. He was passionate about sports and played several in school, where he set several scoring records in basketball at his Pennsylvania high school. Ralph followed the Pittsburgh Steelers very closely and did not handle it well when they were losing. Travel brought great pleasure to Ralph and he enjoyed many wonderful trips with his family.
