Mr. Ray L. Day, age 75, of Morrow, passed away, January 22, 2013. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, member of the Lions Club and The Gideons International. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sue, children; Melanie (Chip) Farmer, Timothy (Jatha) Day, Dee (Toby) Phillips, brother; Michael David Day, 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Friday, January 25, 2013 at 1 PM at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro Worship Center. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Rev. Irvin Pearre and Dr. Mel Blackaby will officiate. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
