Mr. Ray Emory Hood, age 90, of Rex, passed away, June 6, 2013. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was married for 71 years and attended The Rock Baptist Church for 71 years were he served as a deacon. He was preceded in death by his son; Donald Ray Hood. He is survived by his wife; Frances Hood of Rex, children; Jacquelin Hood Stevens of Meansville GA, Robert Marvin (Violet J.) Hood of Reynolds, Jeffery Kyle (Suzanne) Hood Sr. of Rex, 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held, Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 2 PM at the The Rock Baptist Church. Rev. Jeffery Kyle Hood Jr. and Rev. Scott Stevens will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday June 8, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at The Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
