Dr. Raymond Dale Vander Wal, Sr, age 89, of Jonesboro passed away February 28, 2022. Dr.Vander Wal was a Pastor, Vice President of Jacksonville Baptist Theological Seminary. He was a member of the American Legion, Harvest Baptist Tabernacle and served in the US Air Force.  He was preceded in death by his wife: Dr. Marina Delores Vander Wal. He is survived by he children: Raymond Dale Vander Wal, Jr. of Dallas, GA, Robin (Don) Keebler of Jonesboro, and Penny Renee (Larry) Krisell of Benton, AK; grandchildren: Ben Harris, Ashley Robinson, Liz McGuire, Andrew Harris, Justin Keebler, Chris Wright, Rebekah Reiner, Desiree Vander Wal; great grandchildren: Carter, Aubrey, Stella, Kaden, Kai, Abe, Giana, Tobin, Abree, Easton, and River.  Funeral services will be held at 7 PM, Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle with Dr. Joe Arthur officiating. Interment will be held at 1:30 PM, Thursday, March 24th, 2022 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
