Mrs. Rebecca Wilson, age 90 of Fayetteville passed away October 14, 2023. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents: Paul T. and Ruth R. Sowell and her husband: J. R. Wilson, siblings: Toni Krumenauer, Paul Sowell, Jr., Barbara Lindblom and Lonnie Sowell, and her great-grandson: Joshua Lewis. She is survived by her daughters: Edith (Kerry) Cozad of Rockwall, TX, Lynn (Lanny) Trogdon of Chapel Hill, N.C., Laurie Wilson (Jerry) Grubbs of Newnan and Sarah (Greg) Dickens of Fayetteville, grandchildren: Michael (Chasity) Watson, Joshua (Marisa) Watson, Erin Montgomery, Peter Montgomery, Mark Trogdon, Wendy (Jeff) Martin, Todd Trogdon, Brandy ( Shem) Roland, Crystal (Luke) Lewis, Rebecca (Zachary) Brown, Katie (Aaron) Lunsford and Diana (Robby) Moore, 18 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Wade Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1 p.m.- 2 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
