Regina Carol Babb, age 58 of Ardmore, OK, formerly of Jonesboro passed away May 17, 2015. Regina was born on August 19, 1956 in Moultrie, GA. She lived in the Atlanta area most of her life and grew up in the Jonesboro Presbyterian Church. She moved to Ardmore, Ok three years ago, and while living there she joined the First Presbyterian Church where she was active in the Apostle's Sunday School Class and served on the Session as a Ruling Elder. She received a Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of Georgia, a Masters of Arts from Central Michigan University, and taught mathematics for twenty six years, most recently at Ardmore High School. Prior to her career in education she was a Laboratory Scientist for the Georgia Department of Agriculture for five years. Surviving are her twin daughters: Rebecca Carol Babb Stevens of Fayetteville and Catherine Delores Babb of Atlanta, fiancé: Russell Rankin of Ardmore, OK., parents: Stancel and Armona May of Jonesboro, brothers: Stephen Michael May of Northfield, MN., Jay Anthony May of Duncan, OK., Stancel Leroy May, III of Madison, WI., and Geoffrey Windham May of Jonesboro, and grandson: Luke Robert Stevens. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with The Rev. Dr. Spencer Frye officiating. Interment Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 24, 2015, 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
