Ret. Capt. Rabun Ricks, age 66, of Hampton, passed away, February 8, 2012. He was retired from the Clayton County Police Department. He was a member of Berea Christian Church and a member of the Peace Officer's Association of Georgia. He is survived by his wife; Connie Smith Ricks, and son and daughter in law; David Jason and Erin Ricks of Williamson, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11 AM at First Christian Church of Jonesboro. Pastor Dennis Fulton and Rev. Wally Woodcock will officiate. Interment will be at McDonough City Cemetery. The family will receive friends, TODAY, Friday, February 10, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
