Ret. Capt. Thomas H. Blair, Sr., age 75, of Ellenwood, formerly of the Jonesboro area, passed away November 29, 2012. He was a retired Captain with the City of Atlanta Fire Department with 34 years of service. He is survived by his wife; Mildred, children; Beth Odonnell, Lisa Robinson, Tommy Blair, Jr., Carol Ann Blair, Sherry Perenich, Tina Morgan, Kim Nixon, Rhonda Jones, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 2, 2012, at 2 PM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Rick Statham will officiate. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park with Fire Department Honors. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
