Mr. Reuben "Ed" Stephens, Jr., 64 of Jonesboro passed away July 7, 2019. Mr. Stpehens was preceded in death by his step-daughter: Amy Evans Gray and sister: Hazel Hall. He is survived by his children: Jonathan Stephens(Stacy Dobbins) of Locust Grove and Ashley Stephens (George McLean) of McDonough, loving friend: Michele McConnaghy, grandchildren: Jonathan Edward Stephens, Jr., Jordon McLean, Kayleigh McLean, Shawn McLean, Avery Dulaney, Ansley Dulaney, Leila Gray, Lexie Gray, Destiny Gray and Nevin Hunter McWhorter. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Smithson officiating. The family will receive friends 6 p.m.-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
