Rhonda Elizabeth Bishop Hopkins, age 67, of Ellenwood, Georgia, passed away on December
22, 2025. Born on February 2, 1958, in Atlanta, Georgia, Rhonda was the daughter of Hazel and Dan
Bishop and the youngest of five children. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother

Rhonda is survived by her oldest brother, Robert Myers; her husband of 37 years, David
Hopkins; her only daughter, Amy Bowyer (Joe Ackley); her bonus daughter, Penny Dodson
(David); her bonus son, David Hopkins (Jamie); and her cherished grandchildren Chance, Caden,

also had a well-known fondness for Hostess mini lemon cakes and was a devoted listener of The
Bobby Bones Show, small joys that became part of her everyday rhythm.
