Mr. Richard Stevenson Dukes, age 78, of Jonesboro, passed away, December 28, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Nora Dukes; wife, Carolyn Dukes; son, Michael Dukes and brothers, Billy and Ronnie Dukes. He is survived by his children, Carol Lynn Dukes of Jonesboro, Richard Gary (Janice) Dukes of KS; sisters, Peggy Dukes Maier of Buford, Margaret (Jim) Faircloth of Brunswick, Carol (John) Pass of Lilburn, Amber (Victor) Hunter of FL; grandchildren, Katelyn Brown, Chloe Dukes, Danielle Dukes, Michael Dukes; great grandchildren, Avery Brown and Jordan Dukes. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Bethel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1-3 PM prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Jonesboro City Cemetery.
