Mr. Robert Gardner Cunningham, age 64, of Jonesboro passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, William James Cunningham, mother, Sarah Evans, brothers, Harold W. Evans Jr. and David W. Evans and a sister, Candace Simpson. He is survived by siblings and spouses; Catherine L. (Harley) Burton of TX, James F. (Wendy) Evans of Gray, Virginia D. Delaney of WV, Donna M. Basil of AR, Charles R. (Margaret) Evans of AL, Deborah M. (Richard) Hodges of TX, Bill (Laurie) Cunningham of OH and Cindy (Jamie) Rice of OH, sisters-in-law; Billie Evans of Eastman, Judy Evans of TN and brother-in-law, Rob Simpson of OH, beloved aunts; Patsy (Frank) Willison of Jonesboro, Nancy R. (Marion) DeBatty of Jonesboro and Margaret (Russell) Slasor of WV. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Warren Baker officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until service time.
