Rev. Robert "Gene" Dial, Sr., age 85 of Conley passed away March 4, 2018. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle and was preceded in death by his grandson: Cory Watkins and sister: Larue Hopkins. He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Beverly Dial, children: Betty Jean Moore, Bessie Linda Troutman and husband Jim, Robert Dial, Jr. and wife Ranee and Tina Michelle Rutherford and husband Ryan, brothers: Larry Dial and wife Connie and Morris Dial and wife Anita, grandchildren: Billy Petty, Crystal Petty, Chris Watkins, Holly Collins and Tonya Browser, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle with Dr. Joe Arthur, Rev. Tom Allen and Rev. Eddis Dockery officiating. He will be placed in state at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Dawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
