MSG(R) Robert P. LeChevalier, age 81, of Jonesboro passed away July 13, 2022.  Mr. LeChevalier was retired from the U.S. Army and was a member of the VFW Post 6330 and American Legion Post 258. He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother: Peter and Vena LeChevalier; mother: Douglas M. Lubin; brother: Rodney LeChevalier. He is survived by his wife: Judith LeChevalier; children: Laurie LeChevalier of Jacksonville, FL, Debra (Rick) Long of St. Augustine, FL, and Robert C. LeChevalier of Jacksonville, FL; brother: Odell (Joann) LeChevalier of Plymouth, MI; sisters: Patricia (Eddie) Stroble of Livonia, MI, Valerie (Bob) Nadon of Livonia, MI, Geraldine (Joe) Marsden of Arcadia, MI, Judith A. Harkey, and Janice S. (Fred) Brandt; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, July 16, 2022 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Friday, July 15, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VFW Post 6330, 732 Veterans Parkway, Jonesboro, GA 30238 or American Legion Post 258, 1480 American Legion Way, Jonesboro, GA 30236 or Clayton County Humane Society, 7810 N.
