Mr. Robert Donald Peel age 96 of Rex passed away, March 12, 2017. Mr. Peel was a US Navy Veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife: Dorothy Peel. He is survived by daughter: Karen Peel Born & husband, Phil of Rex; grandchild: Krysten Simpson & husband, Andrew of Villa Rica; and 1 great grandchild: Carter Simpson. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in the Chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Aday officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 PM, at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM before the service at the funeral home.
