Mr. Robert G. Reynolds, age 87 of Jonesboro passed away December 16, 2018. Robert Grier Reynolds grew up working on a 300 acre dairy farm near Millen, GA. Robert spent 4 years in the Navy as an electrician during the Korean War. Robert was introduced to his wife, Katherine, by a Catholic priest after she had traveled from her home in South Africa to study nursing. They bought a dairy farm near Monroe, GA and started a family. Eventually they moved closer to Atlanta and Robert began a trucking business, which he did for 40 years. Robert was also an organic farmer and gardener from the early 60's. Robert was an avid reader, lover of classical and folk music and a passionate steward of the earth. Robert lovingly cared for his son, John, at home for the past 57 years. He was also a devoted father to his daughter's Ann and Claire. He is survived by his daughters, Ann and Claire Reynolds, his son, John Reynolds, his son-in-law David Conrad, and his 2 grandson's John and Michael Conrad. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2018 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church with Fr.
