Mr. Robert DeVon Townsend, Sr., age 55, of Stockbridge, passed away on August 7, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Guadalupe "Lupita"; children, Robert Devon Townsend, Jr. and wife, Andrea Leigh of Stockbridge, Sherri Angel England and husband Andrew Tyler England, Sr of Killen, AL, Juliano Charles Townsend of Stockbridge, Dorian Joel Townsend of Stockbridge; half brothers, Terry Townsend of Charlotte, NC, Chuck Townsend of Charlotte, NC; mother, Betty Weigel of Morrow; brother, Steven DeWitt Cannon of Stockbridge; step-brothers, Kenneth Weigel of Fairhope, AL, Michael Weigel of McDonough; step-sister, Kathy Weigel of Fairhope, AL, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Maritza and Thomas Geldbaugh; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lester and Seidy Gonzalez; grandchildren, Andrew Tyler England, Jr., Sierra Helen Townsend, Nova Leigh Townsend and former wife, Theresa Ann Townsend of Stockbridge. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 9, 2019 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Jonesboro, GA. Fr. John Koziol, OFM Conv. will officiate. The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service at the church and will receive friends on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
