Mr. Robert Vernon Smith, age 95, of Forest Park, passed away, December 9, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Smith, sons, Brannon Smith and wife, Patsy of LaGrange, James Smith and wife Sue, of Ellijay, Johnny Smith of Forest Park, and Scott Smith of Forest Park, daughter, Angela Snipes and husband, David of Acworth, grandchildren, Jeff Smith, Greg Smith, Tangie Price, Chad Snipes, and Brittney Solis, and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2013, 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Medlin officiating. Interment Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 10, 2013, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
